A stylus tablet will allow me to continue to give my students a better visual understanding of how to solve a math problem, while learning virtually. When teaching math, I am constantly using the white board to show the steps needed to solve a problem. I lead students in practicing problems when introducing a new concept or for review, and use diagrams to help support learning visually. This technology will allow me to differentiate my teaching by giving me the ability to color code and label each step as well as to explain procedure using diagrams. It will help me be able to reach the variety of needs in my classroom and to make learning math virtually similar to what it would be live. Donations to my project will help provide my students with an in-class learning experience, virtually. Art is an important part of our week. Art helps my students develop their right brained thinking skills and is a valuable tool in self expression. The stylus will allow me to continue teaching directed art with my class during virtual learning.
