They learned about the variety of flowers, what seeds need to grow, and worked together with their classmates. They were hands-on outdoors and will continue to utilize the supplies in the garden. The students also use the portable desk to stand and do their assignments or meet with the teacher. They like the alternative to sitting. \r\nThe sticker crafts were so exciting for them to use. They like getting to create things and share them with others. The selections were a huge hit with my fourth graders, especially the Dog Man sets because the movie is currently out. The graphic novel variety pack was also popular and I was very pleased with the overall text complexity of the entire purchase because I know there's a book somewhere among all these series to fit the needs of every student - from easier reads like Junie B. Jones to harder reads like Percy Jackson. \r\n\r\nWe used them today for independent reading and the level of engagement was amazing. Next steps will be to level each book and add them to our leveled classroom library. \r\n\r\nWith a now revamped classroom library, we will continue to build our stamina, develop fluency, and read for simple pleasure and enjoyment.
