Students who are typically hesitant to engage in group activities were more willing to participate because the equipment felt manageable and predictable. It is nice to see my students smiling, waiting for their turn, and engaging in positive peer interactions. Some students independently initiate passes or celebrate a classmate's goal. We have been able to include other classes to participate in these positive activities. We will continue building on these foundational skills by increasing opportunities for teamwork, communication, and independence.
