Your donation made a bigger impact than you know. For many of my students, especially those with multiple disabilities, physical activity isn't just \"play\" it's an essential part of building motor skills, communication, confidence, and teamwork.\r\n\r\nFrom the moment we opened the equipment, their faces lit up. Students who are usually hesitant to join group activities were suddenly eager to participate. Others practiced turn-taking, made requests using their communication devices, and celebrated each other with high-fives after goals. The equipment allowed us to create structured, inclusive soccer activities that every student could access at their own level.\r\n\r\nBecause of your kindness, our students now have more opportunities to move their bodies, work on balance and coordination, and enjoy meaningful social interactions with their peers. You helped create moments of joy, growth, and independence—moments they will remember.\r\n\r\nThank you for believing in our classroom and for supporting the success of students with disabilities. While many donors may use technology at home, a 3D printer in a school psychology setting serves a unique purpose as it becomes a tool for healing, hands-on learning, and meaningful engagement. I am now able to create personalized sensory tools, coping supports, and SEL materials that meet each student's individual needs, helping them stay regulated, communicate their feelings, and participate more confidently in interventions.\r\n\r\nStudents are especially excited by the creative process. They love watching an idea turn into a real object and often help design their own tools whether it's a custom worry stone, an emotion-regulation fidget, or motivation tokens they can earn. This sense of ownership has increased their motivation, independence, and willingness to practice new coping strategies. The combination of sensory tools and personalized 3D-printed supports has made our sessions more engaging, calming, and accessible for students with ADHD, autism, anxiety, and trauma-related challenges.\r\n\r\nThe impact has been most visible in students who previously struggled to engage. One student now transitions more smoothly thanks to a visual schedule he helped create, another uses her 3D-printed achievement tokens to stay focused, and a student working through trauma relies on her self-designed worry stone to ground herself throughout the day. Then we laminated these cards so they became durable, reusable review tools. The set of markers we received has had an immediate and powerful impact on how my students engage with and process new information. In a special education setting, where students often have diverse learning needs, visuals are not a supplement—they are essential for comprehension, organization, and expression.\r\n\r\nMy students and I are using the markers to transform abstract concepts into tangible, memorable visuals. We recently used the markers in our country exploration unit. Students were tasked with researching and compiling information about a country's culture, geography, and resources. Instead of simply filling out worksheets, the students used the new markers to create different types of visual charts. Specifically, each student created a Bubble Map to organize different facts found in the country. For students who struggle with fine motor skills or traditional note-taking, the markers' smooth flow allows them to create neat, expressive drawings and labels without the fatigue of pencils. A student who typically avoids open-ended tasks happy over his color-coded bubble map of Mexico, demonstrating mastery through visual organization rather than struggling to write detailed paragraphs.\r\n\r\nThe students' reaction to the new markers was pure excitement! The moment the box was opened, the classroom was filled with enthusiasm. One student, who has difficulty initiating tasks, immediately reached for a marker and began to draw.
