My students are always in need of writing utensil. I have a system where students have an assignned pencil in the classroom. For the most part students do well with returning pencils to the assigned spot. When pencils become small, they need to be replaced, so having extra pencils available for this task is important. The two pocket folders help my students with staying organized. The lined sheets of paper help my students with taking notes if they forget their composition books. Thanks again for your support with bringing these items into my classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1760446569574,"projectUrl":"project/classroom-basics/9639063/","projectTitle":"Classroom Basics","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Jimenez","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp5468040_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1546913009188","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/5468040"},{"teacherId":7052784,"projectId":8755336,"letterContent":"Since receiving the printer, I've been able to transform the way I conduct data chats with my students. Previously, we relied on black-and-white printouts that often made it hard for students to interpret where they stood academically. Now, with color-coded visuals, students can immediately understand their performance levels on district wide exams such as the iReady Diagnostic where red shaded indicates below 3 or more grade levels below, red solid indicates 2 grade levels below, yellow solid indicates 1 grade level below, green solid indicates early on grade level, and green shaded indicates above grade level.\r\n\r\nThis simple yet powerful change has made our conversations more engaging and meaningful. Students are more focused and invested when they can clearly see their progress represented in color on various domains such as vocabulary, reading comprehension (literary and informational) included in the reports. They quickly recognize patterns over the course of many years and can better identify their strengths and areas for improvement in more recent assessments. The visual clarity has helped them take greater ownership of their learning and feel more confident in setting personal academic goals as they track historical trends.\r\n\r\nBeyond just data chats, the color printer has allowed me to create more professional, easy-to-read charts, progress trackers, and goal-setting sheets. These tools have added a level of polish and organization to our work that students respect and respond to. I've noticed increased participation and deeper reflections during our discussions—and in many cases, improved academic performance as students become more aware of their trajectories.","fullyFundedDate":1736172962400,"projectUrl":"project/color-printer-brings-data-to-life/8755336/","projectTitle":"Color Printer Brings Data to Life","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Valenzuela","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7052784_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1637617112917","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/camillevalenzuela"},{"teacherId":1258415,"projectId":8519140,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generosity!
