Greetings! Welcome to our Donors Choose page. This coming school year I am eager to implement the California NGSS (Next Generation Science Standards) through the use of technology. I want to foster higher level thinking and provide unlimited resources for my students with special needs. This can all be done with simple access to computers. The use of computers will allow my special need students to have access to features such as speak auto-text, speak screen, voice over, labels, assistive touch, hearing aids and large print. The need of these features often hinders academic growth and limits their creativity. Through technology we would also be able to have access to sites such as UStream, Mentimeter and Padlet, which are all sites that promote engagement, allow exploration and facilitate inclusion. Help us on our journey to learning with technology and promoting our students' strengths!
