At the start of the year, many of my students struggled to express themselves and resolve conflicts in a healthy way. Now, thanks to your contribution, I've seen a remarkable transformation—students are choosing to engage in restorative conversations and are developing empathy, communication, and leadership skills in the process.\r\n\r\nThe tools you've helped provide are more than just classroom supplies—they're instruments of healing, reflection, and growth. These resources will create a calming, organized space where students feel safe, respected, and ready to work through challenges. The Mac Mini, combined with the Rode PodMics and the Focusrite Scarlett 4i4 interface, has taken student podcasting to a whole new level. Students are now working with the same professional-grade tools used in real studios, which has increased their sense of pride and responsibility in their work. They're not just speaking—they're broadcasting their voices with clarity and purpose.\r\n\r\nThe Rode PodMics produce crisp, clear sound that makes every student feel like a real host, while the Focusrite interface allows us to record multiple speakers at once with ease. This has opened up new possibilities for collaboration, interviews, and storytelling. One student, who used to shy away from speaking, now takes the lead in hosting our podcast segments because she loves how her voice sounds \"official\" on the mic. This experience is helping students strengthen their communication skills and see themselves as leaders.\r\n\r\nBecause of you, students are not only learning digital literacy and audio editing—they're learning how to express themselves, listen deeply, and build community through their words. Your support gave us the tools to amplify student voice in the most powerful way. Activities have to be repeated daily and having colorful worksheets and center activities helps and make a big difference. Students stay focus and engaged.\r\nThe technology you helped me get, makes activities easy accessible and reusable. Is great to not depend on a school's copy machine that is broken most of the time. My students' eyes lit up as we opened the boxes together — they immediately wanted to curl up with a magazine and start reading. The new bean bags have transformed our reading corner into a cozy, inviting space where students actually look forward to independent reading time. Even my most reluctant readers now rush to grab a bean bag and dive into an article that interests them.\r\n\r\nWe've been using Scholastic News to connect our reading lessons to real-world topics. For example, during a recent lesson on nonfiction text features, students worked in small groups to identify captions, diagrams, and key details in their magazines. They discussed topics like endangered animals and new inventions, sparking rich conversations and curiosity beyond the text.\r\n\r\nNext, we'll continue using Scholastic News to build background knowledge and practice comprehension strategies as we prepare for our next writing unit. The bean bag area will also become our \"Reading Retreat,\" where students can reflect, write, and share what they've learned.\r\n\r\nThanks to your generosity, reading has become a joyful, meaningful experience for my students.
