As of right now, my classroom does not have any materials that promote healthy and productive play for my students. This is a crucial part of their development. The market, food, and baskets would provide my students realistic and fun play opportunities to experience with each other. They can also learn about healthy food choices while playing. Play is necessary to promote cognitive, physical, social, and emotional developmental skills in children. My students deserve quality products and materials to use and learn from in the classroom. These materials would provide opportunities for children to be engaged in meaningful and healthy ways.
