My students have taken it upon themselves to continue their learning during quarantine. They show up to Zoom class every day, excited to learn. However, many of my students do not have a paper, pencils, or colors, to make the most of their learning and enjoy writing. By having these materials and construction paper, we will also be able to engage in art activities where my students will develop fine motor-skills, their imagination and creativity. We all want our students to be able to continue to learn, create, and stay active during this quarantine. My students are at a critical time, as 5 and 6 year olds, to be developing their reading skills and abilities. My students need books in their homes to support them in reading and continue to foster a love for reading. Lastly, as we are all staying at home it can be difficult to stay healthy and active. By providing my students with balls, jump ropes, and swing balls we can support them to stay healthy and active.
