Students have politely asked to get gum, hair ties, and mouthwash during their nutrition/lunch breaks. The smiles and \"thank you's\" I have received are all thanks to you!\r\n\r\nMy students have felt more welcomed in my classroom in the moment that they realized that I am providing items for them to keep up with their hygiene on school campus. The students have said things such as \"this is so cool that you have this\" or \"not every teacher cares enough to provide for us\" after they have used items from the hygiene cart. The smiles on their faces have made this mission worth it. It is these small things that change the dynamic and experience of their high school lives. I have freshmen. They are shy and learning to navigate high school and meeting new people. With a sense of belonging due to this cart, they have bonded with other students who have used the cart in the same way! It is awesome.
