I want to provide students with high interest reading material. These books will join a dwindling, aging library that our students are currently using. The students will have access to books they enjoy reading and help expand their vocabulary. Having a large variety of reading material in the classroom allows my students to strive to meet their goal of reading 1 million works this year. Students will also have the opportunity to read and explore places they have never seen before. Reading is the gateway for imagination. It is a way to expand their mind and allow to students to question and explore new things. These books will intrigue and capture their imagination allowing for higher order thinking.
