I choose alternate seating, even though I teach middle school students. They love stuffed animals, book series that are very popular with the kids and the tablets I saw on Instagram. Many of my students come from poverty and giving them things to read and enjoy while in my class is so important to help them escape their life at home. For example, my students love "The Hunger Games" along with other series. With the books that I chose, I am going to put them in my classroom library. The other thing is alternate seating is so important to have for students who are ADD or ADHD or need to move their bodies around without being a distraction.
