Providing my students with these two award winning novels will expose them to new cultures and genres they haven’t had the chance to experience. These two books will be added to a list of books we will use during our Book Clubs where students will be pushed to new boundaries; testing their knowledge of the book, the characters, literary elements and writing. I will use these two novels (along with four others) to spark new, exciting, and higher interests within my students. My goal is for my students to leave my classroom with a new love and profound respect for reading.

About my class
