Your donations were a complete game changer. Each of our 3 first grade classes received 25 of these good quality headphones, which were vital to students who did not bring headphones from home. In the past, students without headphones only had access to a more flimsy product that would break rather quickly and need to be replaced often. Now students are so happy to receive a higher quality product that is durable. I am happy to report that since passing out the headphones sponsored by your donation, not a single headphone has broken. The kids are so happy to have a quality product. They deserve it and your donations made it possible.\r\n\r\nWe use the headphones for the students to work on online academic programs in both math and reading. The online programs I choose for my students are Zearn math, which is aligned with our math curriculum, and Raz-Kids Learning A to Z reading, which offers leveled books. What is great about both programs is that they offer children the ability to learn at their own levels. On the Raz-Kids reading program, kids can advance by reading more books and completing comprehension quizzes. I can assign kids to different levels at the beginning of the year and I can modify those levels at any time. Zearn math also allows kids to work through independent lessons at their own speed. Both of these programs are beneficial because they reinforce the reading and math instruction that the children receive. This online learning builds independence while I can pull students to work on specific skills in small groups.\r\n\r\nThank you so much for donating products that allow my students to work at their own pace without interruption. They feel valued and happy receiving these high quality head phones and are taking great care of them. Your donation is making a big difference in my classroom and at our school.","fullyFundedDate":1758078259153,"projectUrl":"project/headphones-for-75-students/9426921/","projectTitle":"Headphones for 75 Students","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Grippi","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7451037_orig.jpg?crop=3036,3036,x512,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1773269242242","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7451037"},{"teacherId":8075246,"projectId":5836713,"letterContent":"This was a great impact for my students at Stanton! A lot has changed in my time with them, but we were able to utilize the crafting materials to engage in hands-on activities that paired with the stories we read while working on language and speech goals. The games provided were both motivators for my students, and helped with creating opportunities to build on social skills for the students that benefit from support in that area.\r\n\r\nAlthough I had to leave Stanton at the end of the 2021-2022 school year, the resources you provided remained at the school for the SLP that took my place.
