This playful rhythm work builds early music skills while also supporting language development and creativity. \r\n\r\nPurchasing coloring pages with quarter and eighth notes gives kindergarten and 1st grade students a fun, hands-on way to recognize and remember basic rhythms. These pages support early music learning by combining creativity with simple note reading practice. This works so well before the start of the Christmas break! \r\n\r\nMy third purchase thus far was a Winter Write the Room for music note identification. This worked awesome with 2nd and 3rd graders. It works by placing winter-themed cards with different music notes around the classroom. It was amazing to see their progress from the first day to the last as they became more comfortable and proud of what they could do.\r\n\r\nThe moment the students first saw the rackets, their faces absolutely lit up! Many had never held a tennis racket before, and the joy of having one just their size made them eager to jump right in. The class quickly became one of their favorite parts of the day. You could see the wheels beginning to turn on how they were going to earn different items that arrived. Many made some plans by counting out how many punches they would need to earn to be able to buy items that they were excited about. \r\n\r\nThe materials we received were different incentive items to stock our classroom store. All students have punch cards and they are able to earn punches for each item of work they complete. They also receive punches for being an awesome human to others and some kiddos earn them for making good and safe choices. We have found this tangible rewards program is highly motivating and this has created overall positive behavior changes with the students we support. \r\n\r\nWe price items based on the cost of the product. For example, we received smaller items like slime that we price at 20 punches because the actual cost of a small slime is $2.00. When we have larger items like a drone that costs $24 we price it at 240 punches.
