Hello, I am an Emotional Behavior Disorders Special Education Teacher. I am always trying to find new and innovative ways to serve my children and their families. I believe in early intervention and the necessity to empower children at a young age to believe they can be anything they try to be. I have been an educator for 10 years, and I'm also the mother of a child with emotional needs. I believe that education is the power children need to be the best that they can be. With that being said, giving them the best environment to learn is essential to this process. Utilizing soft lighting, a variety of seating, quiet areas, and pleasant murals will help motivate the children to learn. Having a calming and pleasant environment to help children learn to the best of their ability is, and has always been, a goal for me as an educator.
