Those moments of pure play shaped my school days, giving me a place to belong, move, and grow. That sense of freedom and connection is exactly what inspired Recess Revival: Help Us Play!, and seeing our students experience that same joy has been incredibly meaningful.\r\n\r\nWith the addition of these recess accessories our playground has come alive in a way that reminds me of those treasured childhood scenes. Kids are running to the field, inventing new games, practicing skills, and cheering each other on—just like we used to. What once might have been idle or uncertain moments during recess have transformed into opportunities for activity, confidence, and creativity. The equipment has given students permission to explore, try, fail, and try again, all while staying active and engaged.\r\n\r\nBut perhaps the most powerful part is the relationships being built. Just as I remember forming friendships I still have today, through pickup games and shared challenges, our students are discovering those same connections. Whether they're playing knockout with the basketball, organizing teams for a quick soccer game, or helping each other master a new jump-rope trick, they're learning how to communicate, cooperate, and support one another. Recess Revival hasn't just brought back the spirit of play—it has created a space where children can build memories, friendships, and a sense of belonging that will stay with them well beyond the school day.","fullyFundedDate":1755800901350,"projectUrl":"project/recess-revival-help-us-play/9601066/","projectTitle":"Recess Revival: Help us Play!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Miller","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-3_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/5427624"},{"teacherId":1513885,"projectId":9553061,"letterContent":"My students are very excited to have Pen Pals!
