Having a designated area for learning has helped our students focus, participate, and enjoy learning even more.\r\n\r\nIn addition to creating a welcoming space, the rug has played an important role in teaching responsibility. Students are learning how to properly care for classroom materials by keeping the carpet clean, treating it gently, and understanding that shared items must be respected so they last longer.
