My students love to read! Books are a place where they can escape from their own reality. We are a Title 1 school and our kids deserve to have a place they feel comfortable. If I can provide a few minutes everyday for them to just sit and read it will give them a chance to escape into a book. I would like to provide a place in my room that the kids can sit and enjoy their books. They will be engaged in their stories and the more they read the more they learn. The comfy floor seats and the beanbag chair will allow for additional comfortable floor seating options. They are lightweight and can be easily used in many areas of the classroom. Giving the students many opportunities to make choices about where they read, gives them the responsibility of making good choices.
