After my first year teaching Kindergarten, our reading scores showed room for improvement. As a way to improve reading scores for the upcoming year, I have researched various programs to help achieve this goal. Tara West is a creator of many different curriculums, including KinderLiteracy. This program has incredible results and engaging for students. KinderLiteracy is a whole group program using many different mentor text in each weeks lesson plans. The stories used in the curriculum are classic children stories including The Three Little Pigs and The Very Hungry Caterpillar. I would love to implement this curriuclum next year, however as a teacher funds are limited. Your generous donations will greatly impact the lives of many students.
