I've been using them during targeted instructional time to support students who need additional practice with core skills. One specific moment that stood out was when students worked in pairs to solve number sense tasks—they were fully engaged and excited to use the hands-on materials, and it sparked meaningful math conversations between them.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the new materials, they were thrilled. Many of them commented that the activities felt like \"math games,\" which immediately boosted their motivation and confidence. The colorful, structured tasks made the work feel approachable and fun, especially for students who sometimes struggle with math.\r\n\r\nThanks to your support, our small-group time is now more interactive and effective. Next steps for my students include using the intervention tasks to build stronger fluency with addition and subtraction strategies. We will also use the materials to support problem-solving practice as we move into our next unit. These resources will continue to help differentiate instruction and give each student the focused support they need to grow.\r\n\r\nThank you again for making this possible. While many donors are familiar with basic school supplies, they may not realize how essential these tools are for students in an Intermediate Autism setting. Supplies like adaptive materials, sensory supports, organizational tools, and hands-on learning items help my students focus, communicate, and participate more confidently in their daily lessons.\r\n\r\nWhat excites my students most is having materials that are just right for them items they can touch, explore, manipulate, and use with ease. Whether it's visual supports, sensory-friendly tools, or colorful learning materials, these supplies make learning feel safe, structured, and fun. For many of my students, having their own set of materials helps reduce anxiety and increases independence, which is a huge step toward academic success.\r\n\r\nThere are already students who have especially connected with these new resources. One of my learners who often struggles with transitions has found comfort in the sensory items, helping him stay regulated and ready to learn. Another student who hesitated to participate in writing tasks is now eager to use our new materials because they feel more engaging and accessible. Even small changes like having fresh markers, organizational trays, or visual supports have boosted their confidence and willingness to try.\r\n\r\nYour support has created a classroom environment where every student feels valued, equipped, and capable. Students are now able to test and work quietly without the extra distractions that used to make focusing difficult. They feel more confident during independent work time, and I've already seen an improvement in their concentration and effort.\r\n\r\nOur new prizes and rewards have also brought a huge boost of motivation. Students are working harder, setting goals, and celebrating their achievements with excitement. When they first saw all the new materials, their faces lit up, they couldn't wait to start using everything, and they especially loved earning the new rewards.\r\n\r\nYour support has truly made a meaningful impact on our classroom environment. These resources are more than just supplies, they're lifelines for students navigating the unique challenges of autism.\r\n\r\nSince implementing these tools, I've seen significant positive changes in student engagement, regulation, and confidence. One of my students, who used to struggle with emotional outbursts, now independently uses a sensory tool to calm down and rejoin the group. Another has started using visual emotion cards to express feelings more clearly something that was once a major hurdle.\r\n\r\nThese victories, big and small, are because of your kindness.\r\n\r\nThank you for believing in inclusive education and for investing in the mental wellness of my students. Their faces lit up when they realized the stories were short and accessible, which gave them the confidence to try reading right away. They were eager to take turns reading aloud and loved that they could feel successful quickly.\r\n\r\nThe next step is to continue building their reading stamina and confidence by gradually moving to more challenging books in the series.
