These materials will help create an engaging classroom where my students can explore, grow, and feel excited about school each day. For many of my students, this will be their first time experiencing learning in this way, and I cannot wait to see the smiles on their faces when they realize these resources are here just for them.\r\n\r\nThank you for believing in my students and in the work we do together. Previously, our jump rope selection was limited, and many students didn't have access to a rope that fit them properly. Now, thanks to your kindness, every single student has their own jump rope!\r\n \r\nJumping rope is a fantastic form of exercise, building coordination, strength, and cardiovascular fitness. It's also a wonderful way for students to discover hidden talents and shine in new ways. It's been incredibly rewarding to see the look on a student's face when they master their first jump, and equally thrilling to watch others develop advanced jump rope tricks. Your support has opened up so many opportunities for our students to be active and healthy.\r\n \r\nWe want to share a story: During a 3rd grade class a student who had never learned to jump was trying to time his jump right but the rope kept hitting his feet. Instead of getting frustrated he kept trying. Some other students noticed and started giving him helpful advice and encouragement. A crowd formed and students started chanting his name. After a few tries he mastered a successful jump! A roar reverberated around the gym as students celebrated his accomplishment. The student was smiling, a smile of someone who accomplished something they didn't think they could do. Without your generous donation, we would have not been able to have that moment.\r\n \r\nThank you again for your commitment to Westlawn Elementary and for investing in the well-being of our students.
