Of course, we've had to limit some to one per child because they're flying off the shelves!\r\n\r\nThis is a great problem to have and I'll continue to expand the library as I can. Now that our routines and systems are up and running, every bit of this project has come in handy. Our stations run smoothly thanks to our new display bookshelf. It's got a nice display that we use for our reading unit (currently Overcoming Adversity). \r\n\r\nWe also use the bean bag chair as part of our chill out space. Students enjoy being able to relax back there for a few minutes at a time when they feel overwhelmed. It was actually pretty fortunate that some supplies could not be ordered because our bean bag chair from last year mysteriously disappeared over the summer! But it's all good because we managed to get this one.\r\n\r\nLastly, the anchor charts and markers simply help things run smoothly. I'm thrilled to share that our end-of-year rewards have arrived! Be on the lookout for photos and videos during the week of June 9, when I'll capture the joy and excitement on the faces of every student—those on my caseload and those I support in small-group reading and math interventions.\r\n\r\nLast year, I personally invested nearly $750.00 to fulfill my students' Wishlist's, which they earned by meeting their growth goals in reading and math before summer began. The reward system inspired students to work diligently and boosted attendance, as they eagerly anticipated earning their rewards through academic effort and excellent conduct. Their hard work and determination made the project a tremendous success—and inspired me to launch this new initiative on DonorsChoose. Thank you to all of my extraordinary supporters: your advocacy helps every classroom thrive and every student succeed. As I always say, what we do for our students today is a gift to our community and to our future.
