There are not enough laptops in my classroom to have every student working with technology at once or even to work using technology in multiple small groups. Adding 5 iPads to our classroom would allow students to work collaboratively with one another while also becoming more technologically component which will translate to their world outside of school. The girls in my classroom should not only feel as though our classroom is a safe space, but they should also feel a sense of pride in our resources. Your donation will give a group of young women and more students for years to come the opportunity to have a technologically advanced classroom, a space to store student materials and work, and sensory materials to make our safe space a place to take a break if students feel overwhelmed. My students and I thank you in advance for your generosity and support of our growth!
