Last year my students endured an entire school year without tangible learning materials. We were creative using items we could find around the house when teaching math and science. Online literacy games helped when teaching reading and writing. This school year, tangible materials such as linking cubes, place value charts, ten frames will provide students with a better understanding. Materials such as activities to create words or learn more about science related topics will assist during personalized learning time/small group. By donating to this project you will not only help with student engagement but you will also increase student achievement.
