My scholars are first graders attending public school in Southeast DC. They have a love for learning and are always excited to learn something new each day. Many overcome obstacles such as homelessness, hunger, and violence just to make it to my classroom each morning, but you would never know it by their wide smiles! Our school is committed to putting each student on the path to college and constantly messages the importance of students putting in the hard work it takes to accomplish that goal.

About my class
