STEM supplies are often hard to come by with such limited funding in elementary schools so your generosity is very appreciated and will benefit many students this year as well as in years to come. We have recently introduced a STEM specials class to our school so the technology and STEM building supplies are actually benefitting more students than originally anticipated.\r\n\r\nCoding is a huge part of our technology curriculum in elementary schools now and adding the Sphero robots in to these lessons has been so exciting. Students are able to use creative problem solving to get the robots to do specific actions and their pure joy at accomplishing these little feats is truly magical. Creating coding patterns and working in groups has become ones of the most fun parts of our day. Many students love using technology for fun, but allowing them to realize the academic benefits in the classroom is so rewarding.\r\n\r\nIn the future, we're looking forward to using our Sphero robots and PlayStix building blocks to create some fun activities for our school's STEAM night.
