All my 4th graders come to school ready to learn. However, do to the limited supply of books in my classroom, my students need more options to help them become better readers and build comprehension skills. Students love being able to read from picture books, graphic novels, and chapter books. Building a classroom library will give students more choices in what they read. It will also expose them to a larger variety of books and authors. It will expand their knowledge and skills. They are extremely excited when new books arrive in the classroom. They can't wait to start reading!
