Because of your contributions, our students are able to experience technology in a way that goes far beyond what they typically use at home. While many of our students are familiar with devices like phones, tablets, or computers, the technology in our classroom allows them to become creators—not just consumers.\r\n\r\nIn our classroom, technology is used as a tool for problem-solving, creativity, and real-world skill development. Students are learning how to code, design digital media, and think critically about how technology impacts the world around them. Instead of simply using apps, they are building their own projects—creating games, designing visuals, and developing solutions to challenges. This hands-on approach helps deepen their understanding and keeps them highly engaged in their learning.\r\n\r\nWhat excites students most about this new technology is the ability to bring their ideas to life. Whether it's seeing their code work for the first time, watching a design come together, or solving a problem they've been working through, there is a genuine sense of accomplishment and pride. The technology makes learning interactive, meaningful, and fun—it turns the classroom into a space where students feel empowered.\r\n\r\nThere are several students who have especially connected with this technology. Some who may struggle in more traditional academic settings have truly thrived when given the opportunity to learn through hands-on, technology-driven experiences. These students are more engaged, more confident, and more willing to take risks in their learning. It has been incredible to watch them step into leadership roles, help their peers, and take ownership of their growth.\r\n\r\nYour generosity is not just providing tools—it is opening doors for our students. You are helping them build skills that will prepare them for their futures and showing them that their ideas matter.\r\n\r\nThank you again for believing in our students and investing in their success.","fullyFundedDate":1768226061992,"projectUrl":"project/computer-science-classroom-supplies/10001795/","projectTitle":"Computer Science Classroom Supplies","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Steger","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9812016_orig.jpg?crop=2432,2432,x1599,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1768229248613","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/ariel-steger"},{"teacherId":7977344,"projectId":9602691,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generosity! An added benefit I have found is that the chance to earn a game class has vastly improved student attention during traditional classes! Your donation has made an immediate and meaningful impact on our daily learning environment, and I am incredibly grateful.\r\nWhat I love most about my students is their resilience and curiosity. Despite the challenges many of them face outside of school, they walk into our computer science classroom each day eager to learn, create, and grow. Many of my students come from low-income households, and some arrive at school hungry or without access to basic hygiene resources. These challenges can make it difficult to focus, but your support helps remove those barriers.\r\nBecause of your donation, my students now have access to snacks that help them stay energized and focused throughout the day. The essential oils help create a calm, welcoming classroom environment that supports students' emotional well-being and self-regulation. The laminating sheets allow us to create reusable learning tools, visual aids, and social-emotional supports that students can rely on daily. Tissues and Clorox wipes help us maintain a clean, healthy classroom, especially during cold and flu season, so students can spend more time learning and less time worrying about getting sick.\r\nYour generosity helps ensure that my students' basic needs are met, allowing them to focus on what they do best — learning new skills, building confidence, and becoming thoughtful, creative problem-solvers.
