I have used it to demonstrate mathematical concepts with interactive graphing tools, facilitate hands-on science simulations, and provide individualized learning opportunities through educational apps. Students have also benefited from immediate feedback on their work, allowing them to correct mistakes and build confidence in real time.\r\n\r\nMany of my students come from underserved backgrounds and do not have access to technology at home. A select few enjoy choosing packets of hot chocolate or oatmeal to take home. \r\n\r\nWe are able to better focus on our assignments because students have the sustenance\r\nto engage in learning and the motivation to persevere through some challenging tasks because they know they can always \"earn\" and additional treat. Many have improved in their phonemic awareness skills and reading fluency! \r\n\r\nBeing able to have a snack may not see, like a big deal, but our students face a lot of challenges in their personal lives that may distract them from their academics.
