I truly appreciate your support of my classroom and, most importantly, my students. Donations like yours make such a meaningful difference in a teacher's ability to create an organized, efficient, and welcoming learning environment.\r\n\r\nAs a teacher who \"floats\" between classrooms, I do not have a classroom of my own. Instead, I travel from room to room throughout the school day to teach my students. While being a floating teacher comes with its own unique challenges, it is incredibly important to me that my students still have a consistent, organized, and professional learning environment wherever we happen to be. Having the right equipment and storage solutions makes a tremendous difference in making that possible.\r\n\r\nThis cart is going to be incredibly useful because it allows me to keep many of the materials I need organized and accessible while I travel between classrooms. Instead of carrying supplies individually or trying to find temporary places to store materials, I now have a sturdy, reliable space where I can keep important classroom items together. This helps make transitions between classes much more efficient, which means less time is spent getting organized and more time can be devoted to teaching and learning.\r\n\r\nThe cart also provides a secure and designated location for students to store their work and belongings. This is especially helpful in a school environment where we are constantly moving from one classroom to another. Students can have a consistent place to put materials, assignments, and other items rather than having to carry everything with them throughout the day. It also gives me a practical place to safely store items such as classroom supplies and student cell phones when needed.\r\n\r\nI was especially impressed by the quality and sturdiness of this cart. As a teacher who is constantly on the move, I need something that can withstand being used every day and transported from one location to another. This cart is both professional-looking and durable, and it is exactly the type of resource that will make my daily teaching routine easier and more organized.\r\n\r\nMy students have already taken notice of it and love having it in our learning environment! It may seem like a simple piece of equipment, but for a floating teacher and her students, it provides organization, stability, and a sense of having a designated space even when we do not have a permanent classroom.\r\n\r\nI am incredibly grateful for your generosity and for choosing to support educators and students. Your donation is not simply providing me with a cart; it is providing a practical tool that will be used every day to improve organization, efficiency, and the overall classroom experience for my students.\r\n\r\nThank you again for investing in my classroom and in the students I have the privilege of teaching. Your generosity truly makes a difference, and I look forward to putting this cart to work as I travel from classroom to classroom throughout the school year. I am excited about all the ways it will help me stay organized and, in turn, help my students stay organized and focused on learning.\r\n\r\nThank you so much for supporting teachers and students!","fullyFundedDate":1778024333364,"projectUrl":"project/safe-hearts-calm-minds/10202537/","projectTitle":"Safe Hearts, Calm Minds","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Pereira","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10481571_orig.jpg?crop=432,432,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1776728220234","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10481571"},{"teacherId":3550919,"projectId":9368591,"letterContent":"Your generosity has made a meaningful difference in creating a clean, organized, and welcoming environment where students can feel comfortable and ready to learn.\r\n\r\nThe cleaning supplies have helped us maintain a healthy classroom while teaching students the importance of taking responsibility for their shared space. Your generosity removed real barriers to learning and turned our biology room into a healthier, more accessible space for all students.\r\n\r\nBecause of you:\r\n\r\nStudents who struggle to sit for long periods now choose the standing desk to stay engaged during labs, note-taking, and discussions. I'm already seeing stronger focus, better posture, and more on-task participation from students who once felt restless or distracted.\r\nThe walking pad offers gentle movement that keeps minds alert. Students use it during independent work and review—reporting that a few minutes of walking helps them reset, reduce restlessness, and think more clearly.\r\nThe air purifier has noticeably improved our classroom air quality. In our inner-city community, where many students face environmental health challenges, cleaner air means fewer headaches, less coughing and sneezing, and longer stretches of sustained concentration.\r\nClorox wipes empower students to help maintain a safe, clean lab environment. With quick sanitizing between activities, we've reduced distractions, cut down on shared-surface concerns, and protected valuable learning time.\r\nNew ceiling lights have transformed visibility. Students can more easily read texts, observe specimens, and take accurate notes without eye strain—leading to stronger comprehension and greater confidence during labs and assessments.\r\nTogether, these resources create a classroom that supports health, movement, safety, and focus. I'm watching reluctant learners take academic risks, collaborate more during labs, and persist through challenging tasks. Most importantly, students are beginning to see themselves as capable scientists.\r\n\r\nYour gift didn't just purchase supplies—it opened the door for deeper engagement, better daily habits, and a sense of dignity in learning.
