Each student in my class is incredibly different from the next. The two that stick out the most are a pair of brothers that could not be any less alike. The older sibling is a senior. He has surpassed every goal ever set for him, passed all state exams, will be headed to community college next year, and makes me laugh every time he stops in to say "hello" (because of the structure of our program some of the students only rely on me for emotional support, like him). His younger brother, a sophomore, is one of a students that is with me all day. He is almost completely non-verbal and can be a handful. Most people don't even believe the two are related. That is, until the younger brother makes them laugh too. There is not enough space to describe each of my 12 students (all boys!) in detail, but they each make me laugh every day.
