During this time of remote learning, we as teachers are working tirelessly to better engage our students. The remote learning world is something that has come with many challenges for both students and teachers. It is hard for many students to stay focused and teachers are quickly learning that they have to completely change their way of providing lessons to their students to make it accessible and exciting. An iPad will help me to create videos, plan new types of engaging lessons, and bring ecology and environmental science to life for my students. With the iPad and Apple Pencil I also want to make new and engaging visuals to help with student learning. These tools will help me now with our remote learning but will also help in the long term when we return to school with in-person lessons and materials.
