Students enjoy creating different structures independently and with their peers, and I have been able to use them as a calming activity as well as a way to practice patience, cooperation, creativity, and problem-solving.\r\n\r\nWe will continue using these resources throughout the school year as part of our counseling and social-emotional supports. One of my favorite things to see is a student start a puzzle thinking it looks too difficult, then continue working piece by piece until they finally finish it. That moment of pride when they place the last piece is priceless! Students are also learning to encourage one another, ask for help, handle frustration, and understand that some things take time and persistence.\r\n\r\nWe will continue using our puzzle collection as part of our counseling and social-emotional learning program.
