Students will each have a personal space for morning meetings and whole group lessons. It is where we start and end our day. In the morning, we talk about our schedule, our values, and our goals. Students would benefit from having a classroom rug to sit on for whole-class activities. Students need to have the option to sit on the rug and not always be in chairs to optimize their learning. A classroom, rug will allow for a space to create a sense of community in the classroom. Having a rug would provide our classroom with a place to optimize student learning.
