The students will be able to read the "Who Was" book series and will not only further help them with comprehension skills, but it will also help enhance the students knowledge of historical events. Having these books accessible to the students will allow them to combine reading and Social studies skills, which will increase their interest for learning. Providing them with historical information that is fun for them read will encourage them to overcome the hardships in their lives using the power of discovery. Using these popular biography selections is an amazing way to include nonfiction reading for fourth graders.
