They are learning that mistakes are part of the engineering process. When something doesn't print correctly, they revise, rethink, and try again. That perseverance has been one of the most valuable lessons.\r\n\r\nThe most exciting moment for students is watching their ideas come to life layer by layer. Seeing a design move from the computer screen to a physical object they can hold builds confidence in a way few other activities can. Students who are often quiet in class have found a new way to shine, and others have stepped into leadership roles by helping classmates troubleshoot and improve designs.\r\n\r\nFor many of my students, this project has sparked curiosity about careers in STEM and shown them that they are capable of creating, building, and innovating. The students thought the new stand alone dressing room was really cool and even helped assemble it. They also got right to sorting the socks, hats, and mittens to organize them into the new storage bins. This was enjoyable to watch as they worked together. \r\nThrough your donations, we were able to make this resource happen for our students. We are all so grateful for your thoughtfulness, kindness and support. We couldn't do it without you.\r\nOur school hopes to continue offering clothing items, shoes and personal hygiene products for our students into the future.
