When the children returned to the classroom after recess and saw their tables transformed into a long dining table decorated for their Thanksgiving feast all you could see and hear were the looks and sounds of WOW! They LOVED the wooden bowls and spoons and mentioned this is probably exactly what the pilgrims and Native Americans probably used! The butter making had happened earlier in the day and they could not beleive that we actually did it. It was even better when they got to try it out on their cornbread.
