My students are definitely developing a true love of reading. Nothing makes me more excited than to see a child discover a new book that they love! With Amazon Kindles for half of my class to use at a time, students will be able to explore a world of books at their fingertips through Amazon Rapids. When a students finishes a book, there won't be wait time before jumping into another book in the series or a similar book to keep reading momentum going. Seeing the look on a child's face when they are explaining what is happening in a book they love is what this job is all about. I would love to be able to help this happen more often by putting engaging, colorful books in their hands with Kindles.

About my class
