Each year the state provides us with School-based Mass Screening Recommendations which consist of height, weight, vision, hearing, dental, blood pressure and BMI. It is vital to have accurate measurements from these recommended screenings for early identification of any problems or concerns that could interrupt a student’s learning process. These screenings can also provide the student's pediatrician with pertinent information for early interventions if needed. With the proper tools such as a new Tanita Digital Scale and Snellen Eye Chart, I can properly perform the state recommended School-based Mass Screenings.
