We are a diverse classroom, an excited classroom, an eager classroom, and a READING classroom! My students are from a rural part of our county, low-income housing, receiving free lunch. They have faced displacement from several natural disasters in our area over of the last four years. Many of their families are still trying to get back on their feet and they need the resources and encouragement to push forward and through the hardships. It's been a great year so far and my students need more books to keep our momentum going!
