Although we have only been using it for a week, I have already noticed such a positive difference in my students' classroom behaviors and routines.\r\n\r\nThe carpet has helped my students learn to sit in their designated squares and practice keeping their hands to themselves. It has also made transitions throughout the day much smoother. I am able to call on students based on the color of the row they are sitting in, which provides a fun and organized way to transition between activities.\r\n\r\nMost importantly, I have noticed that students who previously had difficulty remaining seated are now able to stay seated and engaged for longer periods of time. Many of my students are visual and hands-on learners, so using technology helps them better understand lessons in reading, math, and phonics. It also gives them opportunities to practice skills independently and build confidence while learning at their own pace. In our Title I classroom, this technology opens doors to experiences and resources that some students may not always have access to at home.\r\n\r\nWhat excites my students the most is that learning now feels fun and interactive. Their faces light up when they get to use the new technology. Even students who are usually shy or hesitant become more eager to participate. One of the most impactful changes has been the flexible seating options. Students now have the choice to sit where they feel most comfortable—whether that's at a traditional desk, on a wobble stool, or in a cozy corner. During a recent math review activity, I watched a group of students who typically struggle to stay focused remain engaged for the entire lesson simply because they were able to choose seating that worked for them. It was such a powerful moment to see their confidence and stamina grow.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the new materials, their reactions were priceless—there was genuine excitement, gratitude, and lots of \"Wow!\" moments. The snacks have also made a big difference, especially during longer learning blocks and testing prep. Students feel cared for and supported, which helps create a positive and focused learning environment.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, we are continuing to build on this momentum by incorporating these resources into small group instruction and project-based learning. Students are currently working on collaborative math review tasks and will soon begin a hands-on project where they apply problem-solving skills to real-world scenarios. With these new tools, they are more engaged, more comfortable, and more willing to take academic risks.\r\n\r\nThank you for giving our classroom the support it needs to thrive—we are so grateful!","fullyFundedDate":1768017113321,"projectUrl":"project/calm-minds-ready-learners/9987860/","projectTitle":"Calm Minds, Ready Learners","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Hall","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-1_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10398240"},{"teacherId":8145844,"projectId":9989696,"letterContent":"We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to each of you for your generous toy donations.
