My students need to experience something for them to truly learn in. Reading books and doing worksheets will only get them so far. I want them to live it, so that they keep it and not forget it. Many of my students have a lot of trouble retaining what they have learned. I feel that these materials will take their learning to the next level. My goal is to set part of the classroom up as a store where they learn to shop, handle money, and have a job. The other part of the classroom will be set up like a living space and they will have the opportunity to learn how to take care and manage a living space.

About my class
