These books are designed to help students who are at a Kindergarten or Pre-Kindergarten reading level reach a First-Grade Reading level. Reading at this level is about building confidence and comfort with books. The books listed have ATOS book levels between 0.2 and 0.9. After going through four years of AR data on book tests, these are the stories within the kindergarten level range that students passed with an 80% or higher with consistency. With a set of each of these books, I can set up reading circles for every level of reader to have a partner to help get them to the next level. All of these books have been classroom favorites.
