We didn't have any electric bass guitars before this project was funded so it is because of you that I have students who are excited to form their own bands and practice music they like, as well as start writing their own music to play. \r\n\r\nMy fifth grade students are working on creating their own bands and picking music they will play for an end of the trimester showcase. We also created many crafts to decorate our classroom so students could feel it was their room. \r\n\r\nThese supplies helped create a welcoming and engaging environment. Many of my students do not have coloring materials at home so having new ones at school was really meaningful to them. There is an importance of every step of it; the box itself grabs their interest, the paper inside listing the contents, the colorful packaging that must be studied before being opened. All of it means so much to them.
