I wish you could have seen and heard the excitement from my students when they helped unbox the new electric bass guitars and amplifiers. The addition of these instruments into our classroom has allowed my students the opportunity to learn to play and understand the role that a bass plays in a modern band. We didn't have any electric bass guitars before this project was funded so it is because of you that I have students who are excited to form their own bands and practice music they like, as well as start writing their own music to play. \r\n\r\nMy fifth grade students are working on creating their own bands and picking music they will play for an end of the trimester showcase.
