One morning, a student came in early to read and take AR tests. When he spotted the Dog Man books, he was so excited that he immediately started showing them to his classmates. It was such a sweet moment to see him so eager to share his love of reading with others.\r\n\r\nSince adding these books to our classroom, I've seen how much more excited my students are to explore our classroom library and find books that interest them. My goal is to help my students see reading as something they can enjoy, not just another school assignment. Many of my students are still building their reading skills, so having fun, engaging books that they are genuinely excited to read makes a huge difference.\r\n\r\nMoving forward, I hope to continue building their confidence, encouraging them to explore new books, and helping them discover the joy of reading. I'm so grateful to everyone who made this possible. Your generosity has helped make our classroom a place where students are excited to pick up a book, share stories with their friends, and grow as readers.","fullyFundedDate":1789603562072,"projectUrl":"project/growing-a-love-of-reading-one-page-at-a/10635228/","projectTitle":"Growing a Love of Reading, One Page at a Time","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Regalado","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-1_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10664540"},{"teacherId":10530425,"projectId":10335277,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for supporting our classroom and making this project possible! When my students heard that we had received donated materials, they were so excited. It was wonderful to see their reactions and to tell them that people who care about their education had chosen to support our learning.\r\n\r\nWe have already started putting our new materials to use. The paper has allowed us to create anchor charts and foldables that students can interact with and use as learning tools. The highlighters have also been especially helpful because students can highlight important information and identify key ideas as they learn. These simple materials have made a meaningful difference in the way my students participate in our lessons.\r\n\r\nMost importantly, my students are excited to complete hands-on activities instead of simply completing worksheets in their notebooks. They are able to create, organize, highlight, and interact with what they are learning. Your generosity has helped make our classroom a more engaging and exciting place to learn, and I am so grateful that you have given my students these opportunities. Everything is being put into great use. The stools were so needed as we are having a chair shortage at our school. Students don't need to log their desk chairs to and from the back table to work with the teacher or on the laptops. The bands on their chairs keep busy feet active allowing them to focus better. All the books and manipulatives are helping them learn in a more fun and interactive way.\r\n\r\nMy students are more engaged and eager to learn. They come to school happy and ready to put their maximum effort in order to grow. Many of there students come from very low income families. The parents themselves can not read and write and are excited to see their children growing and having opportunities they did not have. So with the gracious donations, you were able to aid in making these students and their families' future a lot brighter.","fullyFundedDate":1758913433016,"projectUrl":"project/exciting-and-immersive-kindergarten-clas/9430854/","projectTitle":"Exciting and Immersive Kindergarten Classroom","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Francisco-Valdes","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9001936_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1753819740941","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9001936"},{"teacherId":2306205,"projectId":9572657,"letterContent":"On behalf of my students, I would like to thank you for your generosity and support. The laminating machine, laminating pouches and magnets have been put to great use. \r\n\r\nSmall group instruction is an essential component in our classroom. This is where the magic truly happens as students' areas of strength and/or weaknesses are targeted during our rotations. We try to make these lessons interactive and hands-on. That is where the laminating comes into play. We laminate many of these activities so that students can write on them with dry-erase markers. This allows us to use them through out the day with other students, which in turn helps us make less copies. In addition, the magnets that were donated are also helping us hang our anchor charts which help as visuals that serve as reminders of what they are learning or have learned. These magnets also help us hang work that we are proud of and want all our visitors to see.\r\n\r\nFrom the bottom of my heart, thank you for investing in our future generation.
