My students really benefit from as much stimuli to learn. They need lots of repetitions and visuals. They need more multi-sensory approaches than other typical developing students. In the regular classrooms they have the ability to use equipment such as the smart boards. In my therapy room and at home I don not have smart equipment that I can use to provide my students different exposures. By using an iPad the student's that have limited communication skills can use it as a communication device to express their wants and needs during therapy sessions. We can also download activities and books to create their own stories. The document camera will help to project more interactive activities with them. This will bring a new dimension and interaction into lessons. Now that we have gone into distance learning I see the need for accessibility platforms. I can already see their eyes light up and the smiles n their faces as I am able to project and manipulate activities through the screen.
