From the moment they saw the colorful crayons, their faces lit up with excitement. They immediately wanted to touch, explore, and start creating. The jumbo size has been especially helpful for my kindergarteners as they continue developing their fine-motor skills and learning to hold their crayons with greater control and confidence.\r\n\r\nWe have been using the crayons throughout our classroom activities to bring learning to life. Throughout different lessons, students have been able to use their crayons to create colorful drawings that show what they have learned, make connections and respond to different prompts for stories read, and help illustrate their writing. It was wonderful to see students proudly explain their drawings and connect their artwork to their ideas. They are beginning to understand that their pictures can communicate their thinking just as their words do as they grow in their learning.\r\n\r\nNot only have students been able to use these awesome kinder perfect Jumbo crayons to learn and feel more comfortable holding the crayons, begin drawing and coloring, they have started using them across different subject areas including in writing, mathe, science, and art. The projectors give them visual examples to follow while still allowing them to make their own creative choices. This technology has helped make drawing and early writing feel more accessible and enjoyable for young learners who are just beginning to build confidence in these important skills.\r\n\r\nMy students are especially excited about choosing the different pictures and themes they want to trace and draw. They love watching the images appear and then using their pencils and crayons to bring those images to life on paper. I have also noticed that students who may be hesitant to draw independently are more willing to participate when they have a picture to guide them.
