I am requesting board games, books, and stress tools will help support the work of our school counseling program. Our program is in its third year of running and is in need of these resources and tools to better meet the needs of our students. For example, board games are a great vehicle for practicing social skills like sharing, problem solving, and cooperation. Also, many of our students battle with anxiety, so tools like fidgets, stress balls, and study dividers can help them cope. The books listed will enhance classroom lessons and will be a great resource for bibliotherapy as well. They provide yet another opportunity for students to develop their social emotional skills . Our program is fairly new and in need of these resources to better service our students' needs. Sometimes it is hard for students to share the feelings they struggle or problems they face. The board games and tools like the family dolls make it easier for them to talk. Each of these resources will help our counseling program give students the support and skills necessary to succeed in school.
