When I showed them the books, they were excited. \r\n We took the photos and they asked me when we would be reading them. \r\nI will be using the decodable book, Tug the Bug this week with the CVC words. After that, I will be using the chapter book, Mr. Putter and Tabby to read aloud and use different strategies for reading with writing responses. I will also be using the decodable books with the vowel teams. \r\n I also created questions for the students to restate them and answer for comprehension. I look forward to using these books. I wish I had ordered more for the project because I know they would be so beneficial. \r\n I am so glad this project was funded and I will look into creating another books project.
