Our school provides support and helps improve students' achievement. It is a Title I school with a majority of students from low income families. Students from disadvantaged backgrounds have little or no exposure to the communities outside their homes. In order to provide them with a well rounded education, the school requires additional funding to update current classroom environment. Unfortunately, with the funding cuts, the school is not able to accommodate all needs. The sound system and equipment are old and not functional and our school needs to replace them with new technology, iPod and SoundDock. Not only will the students benefit from up-to-date resources, but also will gain exposure to new cultures and ideas.
